ATLANTA, GA - 04/27/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET)

Film making is best learnt by actually making a movie and the State of Georgia reportedly gets its first ever real film making course with Open Rivers Film Academy. Entitled as “Cinema South Filmmaking Class”, the futuristic course has assured hands-on training for the emerging and new film-makers of the State of Georgia, with enrollment starting on May 15th.

With secured national and international distribution, the latest course would enable trainees to have practical experience with a film that will be distributed to enhance their knowledge on securing distribution, making & promoting a film as well as securing an industry standard IMDB rating. Students can now get opportunity to work and get in touch with industry professionals who are ready to share their knowledge and working insights to every single process followed in film making.

The program does not require any prior experience making it suitable for any individual interested in film making. All the classes will be running three days a week at evening 7 to 9.30 pm in Fayetteville, GA located in the Pinewood Production Centre while the shooting of the film is scheduled on weekends.

“Many regular film making courses encourage students to make short films, even after graduation, but these aren’t recognized by the industry always, given the absence of a standard to measure the monetization or success of these short films”, remarked Tammy Williams, the woman and director behind the first real film making course in Georgia.

Speaking further, the CEO & founder of the futuristic film making workshop added. “This is the first film making program in the State of Georgia where the trainees would get to work on a real movie that will be nationally and internationally distributed. What separates our course from rest of the programs around is that our students would be armed up in every essential of making a professional movie with a hands-on approach to establish them as successful filmmakers, while arming them with this same knowledge allowing them to work on other major productions that come to Georgia with qulaifiable experince by working on this film.

The featured production from Open Rivers Film Academy in partnership with TammyDele Films, will be a family/inspirational movie “Ernie & Cerbie”. The plot revolves around orphanage kids & how they get new homes for them through a little angel & his K9 friend Cerbie.

“Our course aims to prepare you with an invaluable understanding on securing distribution, development of script, direction, script break-down, shooting, how to serve as main crew members, handling of cutting-edge equipments and many more. It will amplify your skills in film publicity, creation of sales sheet, marketing plan & film production. In a nutshell, you will have this rare first-hand experience of being an active participant of a real film production”, noted a spokesperson from Williams’ team.

"Most film-makers, especially, first time film-makers don't understand that they need to secure distribution before they begin producing their film," stated Alvin Williams, who will serve as producer of this course. "We teach the student how to work a film backwards, which is the proper and cost saving ways to produce a film," continued Alvin.

Cinema South Filmmaking Class is priced at $1,200.00 which students are allowed to pay in three installments of $400 each. As the seats are limited, interested students are advised to secure their place at earliest to avoid the last moment rush.
