Carolyn Purvis, Owner & Founder of CP Quality Consulting and Lead Assessor for ISO 9001:2008 for IMSM has been named "Top Professional of the Year in Consulting" for 2016-2017 by the International Association Of Top Professionals (IAOTP)!

Carolyn Purvis, Owner & Founder of CP Quality Consulting and Lead Assessor for ISO 9001:2008 for IMSM has been named "Top Professional of the Year in Consulting" for 2016-2017 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP)! 

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations and contributions to their communities.  All honorees will be invited to attend the IAOTP’s annual award gala at the end of this year for a night to honor their achievements.

With over 20 years of professional experience Carolyn has certainly proved herself as an accomplished professional, entrepreneur and leader in the Consulting industry.  She currently works as a contract auditor for IMSM, a consulting firm for ISO 9001:2008, a quality management system; and she also takes on full responsibility of being owner and founder of CP Quality Consulting, which provides quality consulting services to her clients.  The company's main focus is to help coach businesses and organizations interpret standards that will be required for a particular application. She provides internal audit consulting services, oversees certification paperwork and prepares for external registrations. Ms. Purvis also teaches internal audits and writes employee manuals.

Carolyn first got her business going after she resigned from her position as the quality director for a printing plant that was in the middle of Tennessee.  She and her late husband, at the time wanted to move back to Paris, Tennessee to be closer to their granddaughter and elderly mother.  They made the move and a previous boss called to see if she would like to do some audits with him which in turn gave her credit for audits completed which gave her certification as ISO 9001 auditors.  From there,  her business has been thriving ever since.

Ms. Purvis received her Certificate, Quality System Management 1997-1998 University of Manitoba and received her Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), in Business Corporate Communications 1991-1995 from Murray State University.  She has been recognized worldwide for her hard work, accomplishments and achievements. In 2013 she was named VIP Member from Worldwide Branding; selected for a Pinnacle Award for Top Executives; Certificate of Recognition from Elite Business Owners in 2014;  chosen as a Lifetime Achiever from Worldwide Who’s Who 2015; named Top Female Executive 2015; selected as a Top 101 Industry Expert and has a chapter in that publication released in 2015.

Looking back Ms. Purvis attributes her success to her strong work ethic, perseverance and the support she received from her family.  Being a home maker, military wife, business owner and mother of two daughters, there isn't a challenge Carolyn cannot overcome.  Looking into the future Carolyn aspires to remain successful in her business and to continue growing as a business professional.
