SAN FRANCISCO, CA - 07/18/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET)

“Bottlecoat” is a pop-up conceived my San Francisco sommelier Allegra Angelo connecting the elements of hospitality, wine, beauty and wellness. With more than ten years of experience in the beverage industry, Allegra creates an approachable and effective method in teaching about wine. “Bottlecoat” pop-ups at ZaZa Nail Spa in the SOMA district in partnership with beauty expert and owner, Rachel Cheng. As a successful spa owner for more than a decade with a degree in marketing and business, Rachel knows all the “ins and outs” of beauty and wellness. After their successful debut in March, Allegra and Rachel are thrilled to host “Bottlecoat #2: A Summer in Tuscany” happening Monday July 18th, the first seating is 3:45 pm.

How does “Bottlecoat” work? Guests buy tickets online at http:///www.bottlecoat.com for a price of $65.00 which includes a ZaZa signature pedicure (a step above “classic”), three glasses of wine, as well as a 20% gratuity. Tickets are sold like a seating to a restaurant; available time slots are 3:45 pm, 4:00 pm, 4:30 pm, 5:00pm, 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm. Friends typically book in groups, we serve 6-7 people per seating, a small and intimate group. Guests arrive promptly for their reservation and are greeted with a refreshing glass of white wine, and sommelier Allegra Angelo is on-hand to discuss the wine and answer any questions. As the guest moves onto his/her pedicure experience, they relax with a dry glass of rosé. Upbeat music lingers in the background as guests choose to close their eyes and relax or engage in conversation; the mood is lively but not obtrusive to those who seek a calm atmosphere.

As the pedicure ends, guests move to the reading table, and they are poured their final wine, a savory red wine. For the July 18th event, “bottlecoat” is featuring the wines from the applauded Tuscan producer Fattoria di Fubbiano (one white wine, one rosé wine, and one red wine). More information pertaining to the wines can be found on the website. At “bottlecoat,” featured wines are also available for retail purchase between $12 and $20 per bottle along with jewelry and skincare products from local companies.

The goal of bottlecoat is to promote wine education and awareness through a feel-good experience. “Bottlecoat” welcomes all types of wine enthusiasts, young or old, novice or expert, lady or gentleman. It is a new and unparalleled wine experience for those who enjoy a brief escape or a necessary pamper.
