AEROBATIC AND COMPETITIVE AIR RACE PILOT ANTHONY OSHINUGA SIGNS WITH EPIC FUELS

EPIC Fuels, a leading fuel supplier in the general and commercial aviation industries, is proud to announce its renewed sponsorship of professional aerobatic pilot and competitive air race pilot Anthony Oshinuga and his bid for first place at the 2017 Reno Air Races and at the U.S. National Aerobatic Competition.

Oshinuga, based out of Temecula, California, flies a custom Pitts Special S-1S light aerobatic biplane dubbed “Black Hawk” for races and aerobatic competitions.  In 2016, Oshinuga competed at the Reno National Championship Air Race and placed 2^nd overall in the Biplane category. He has also racked up impressive scores in aerobatic competitions at the US National Aerobatic Competition.

A fierce competitor with a passion for aviation, Oshinuga exhibits great discipline and dedication in his sport.  Those traits, along with Oshinuga’s dynamic personality, make for an excellent ambassador for both EPIC Fuels and the EPIC Card.  Oshinuga’s training and competitions require many hours of flying and visits to FBOs around the country.  EPIC’s support of Oshinuga will not only help him reach his competitive goals, but also help spread excitement for the sport and raise awareness for EPIC Fuels.   

The National Championship Air Races is the last event of its kind, carrying on the tradition of the Cleveland Air Races of the 1920s, 30s and 40s. Held every September just north of Reno, the National Championship Air Races have become an institution for northern Nevada and aviation enthusiasts from around the world. The event features six racing classes, a large display of static aircraft and several military and civil flight demonstrations.
