NEW YORK, NY - 2/12/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET) -- The undisputed blues rock sensation, Joanne Shaw Taylor will be coming back to the US for a special run of solo dates in May and an SRO tour with the legendary Glenn Hughes in August. Additionally, Joanne will be a special guest on “The Experience Hendrix” tour in February.
The in-demand blues artist, Joanne Shaw Taylor, has most recently been on the road in support of her critically acclaimed fourth album, “The Dirty Truth”, as well as performing songs from her previous releases “White Sugar” and “Almost Always Never”.
Joanne has been hailed by The London Sunday Times for her “Killer licks, soaring solos and heart-wrenching vocals” and Joe Bonamassa has been quoted as saying “Joanne is a superstar in waiting”. The ferociously gifted star developed her craft from an early age, playing her first electric guitar at 13, and performing at Ronnie Scott’s in London by the following year.
With his recent sold out live shows in South America and Europe, Glenn Hughes, the iconic “Voice of Rock”, is extending his tour throughout 2016, and will be in the US in August. Joanne Shaw Taylor will be the lead support on this tour, along with Jared James Nichols.
