SESSIONS COLLEGE RECOGNIZED AS TOP DESIGN SCHOOL

TEMPLE, AZ - 2/15/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET) -- For the second time in three years, Sessions College was named by GDUSA magazine on its list of 2016 Top Design Schools in its February 2016 issue. GDUSA is a graphic design industry print and Web magazine established in 1963 known for its contests and awards promoting achievement in design.

The GDUSA listing is a distinct honor, as it places Sessions College in a list that includes such respected traditional design schools as: School of Visual Arts, Rhode Island School of Design, Parsons, and Pratt. Sessions College was also placed among schools offering online programs such as: Savannah College of Art & Design, Academy of Art University, and Full Sail University.

According to GDUSA, design education is more important than ever as the lines between the studio and the classroom, the office and the academy, the university and society, continue to blur.

Furthermore, Sessions College is proud to announce Mariela Abreu, Sessions student, has been featured in the GDUSA Students to Watch feature, an annual piece that showcases emerging design talent at America’s leading design schools. Mariela celebrates her recognition and takes her place alongside previous Sessions College Students to Watch winners Yulia YushinaKyle Gilbreath, and Jason Maclean.
