1/19/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET) -- American Music Institute (AMI) will host its Piano Competition on April 17 and its Violin Competition on May 1 at our Clarendon Hills campus, located just 20 minutes west of downtown Chicago.
Students from ages 5 – 18 years old are invited to perform. Competition repertoire is one piece/movement that is level appropriate and up to 10 minutes in length. To be considered for prize placement, contestants must perform from memory & play their piece in its entirety.

Note: All prize winners must perform in order to receive prize and award at the AMI Violin/Piano Competition – Memorial Winners Concert on May 22nd at 2 p.m. Laureates are also invited to perform at the Memorial Concert.
