MILWAUKEE, WIS. - 9/15/2015 (PRESS RELEASE JET) -- Universities have been the birthplace of many big business ideas. Starting Sept. 20, a new weekly podcast called Startup Parachute will highlight some of the most fascinating entrepreneurial adventures coming out of college campuses today.
Available on Apple and Android, Startup Parachute features interviews with founders and CEOs from recognizable start-ups like Lukla Apparel, Bucketfeet, Envoy Now, University Tees, Hidrate and Fetch Rewards.
The podcast also features discussions with notable business icons from featured campuses as well as tips from top venture capitalists.
Startup Parachute was co-founded and is produced by twin brothers Sam and Dillon Reynolds, students at Indiana University and Miami University in Ohio. The program is hosted by Abby Taubner and Lindsay Chatham, both graduates of the University of Wisconsin.
“Millennials have a hugely entrepreneurial spirit,” said Dillon Reynolds. “My brother and I created Startup Parachute to give a voice to people like ourselves – entrepreneurs on college campuses nationwide. We hope to inspire, entertain, inform and mentor newly formed college start-ups as they launch and grow.”
Startup Parachute highlights both the growing popularity of podcasts and the millennial entrepreneurial spirit. The program brings a unique millennial voice to other millennials in the podcast world and highlights companies that began on college campuses.
Season One of Startup Parachute will offer listeners insight into many different aspects of modern business from product development and marketing to funding and scalability.
