Santa Night Special Event Fundraiser
12/8/2015 (PRESS RELEASE JET) -- On Friday December 11th, 2015, Santa’s and Elves around the country will be singing and raising money for their local charities. Santa Night, in its 17th Year was started in Burlington VT. Along with Burlington, there are currently events happening in Plattsburgh, NY, Lawrence, MA, Montclair, NJ, Medina OH, and the Greater Atlanta, GA area.
Each year men and women dressed as Santa’s and Elves travel throughout their community by Bus, (Also referred to as a sleigh) Trolley, or in some cases on foot. They visit local bars and restaurants (Or Roof Tops) singings Carols, entertaining patrons and passing the hat.
Although Santa Night is a national event, it happens at a local level. All money raised in each community stays in that community.
“Santa Night is a development director’s dream,” says Dean Ferrara Santa Night Founder. Ferrara also said, “Happy people raising money for their charity doing something fun, what could be better? This is not a Pub Crawl, Santa Night brings joy and good spirits to the organizations they represent, and help to those in need. This event truly puts the Fun back in Fundraising.”
