Dr. Nadeem Behjet Honored By Bristol Hospital's Profiles In Medicine Program
10/19/15 (PRESS RELEASE JET) -- Dr. Nadeem Behjet, MD is one of several primary care physicians being honored by Bristol Hospital’s Profiles in Medicine Recognition Program. The Profiles in Medicine award is given twice a year to recognize members of the Bristol Hospital medical staff for their superior work efforts. This year, Bristol Hospital’s primary care staff are being recognized in honor of their service, dedication and contribution to the advancement of health care in the local community.
The Profiles In Medicine Program is a welcome addition to the extensive list of awards and accomplishments that Dr. Nadeem Behjet has garnered during his 36 years of practicing Internal Medicine. Dr. Nadeem Behjet believes that the secret to success in primary care is effective patient-physician communication. He endeavors to have a personable yet professional relationship with every single one of his patients. During his medical career, Dr. Nadeem Behjet has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance for his patient centered care for 4 consecutive years. In addition to his commitment to providing quality primary care services, Dr. Nadeem Behjet also does his part to educate the next generation of doctors. Since 2006, He has been Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Connecticut. In both 2013 & 2014, Dr. Nadeem Behjet was honored by the university with an award for excellence in medical student education and continuity of practice.
Dr. Nadeem Behjet will be honored alongside his colleagues at Bristol Hospital’s Profiles In Medicine Physician Reception on November 12th, hosted at Chippanee Country Club in Bristol.
