ATLANTA, GA - 9/29/15 (PRESS RELEASE JET) -- Over 14,000 readers of a popular men’s grooming blog voted on the different reasons why they manscape their genitals.
Through a poll on his popular men’s grooming blog, blogger Jacob J. Morris found that manscaping has become a trending topic for men of all ages. Manscaping is the removal or trimming of hair on a man’s body for cosmetic effect.
After the article, “How to Shave Men’s Genitals (Illustrated)”, Morris discovered in a poll that over 14,000 men currently manscape their genitals and the different reasons behind the hair removal.
When asked, “Why do you like to or want to shave your genitals?” 24-percent of the 14,425 responders said because they love the way it feels. Fourteen percent said it was more arousing and intimate for them, while 11 percent said that their partner likes it. Lastly, 8 percent said that it helps eliminate pubic odor. The highest vote went to “all of the above” with 43-percent of votes.
According to Morris, this shows that manscaping is more prominent than ever and men truly like feeling smooth.
“Men are acknowledging that they like having smooth skin, and that’s interesting because I think that’s a benefit that we generally associate with women. But this poll indicates that men like feeling silky smooth as much as the ladies do!” he says.
