With three decades of achievements in his field, Dr. Siekanowicz is sports medicine fellowship trained, specializing in general orthopaedics, shoulder, knee and arthroscopic surgery. He treats patients at Rosenthal & Siekanowicz Orthopedic Surgery in Silver Spring, Maryland. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and affluent in multiple languages including Spanish and Polish.
Dr. Siekanowicz is affiliated with Holy Cross Hospital and Doctors Community Hospital. He has received numerous positive reviews and five-star ratings from his patients who praise his knowledge, bed-side manner and compassion.

He then went on to complete an internship in General Surgery at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center and completed his residency at Catholic Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Siekanowicz went on to complete a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Columbia Arlington Hospital and a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine.
Throughout his successful career, Dr. Siekanowicz has authored and co-authored several publications for his field. He is also the recipient of numerous awards including the Patient’s Choice Award 2010-2013, Compassionate Doctor Award 2013, 2014; Top Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Surgeon in Maryland 2018; and today, serving as a Patient Preferred Orthopedic Surgeon for 2019.
