MINNEAPOLIS, MN - 08/30/2018 (PRESS RELEASE JET)

When drones and the Middle East are discussed in the same sentence, it usually elicits thoughts of military attacks and destruction. But many aerial videographers are setting out to show the world the beauty of the Middle East through cinematic drone footage.

Too often depicted negatively, the countries of the Middle East offer plenty of beauty — both natural and manmade. Thanks to a series of drone video collections on AirVuz.com, that beauty can now be seen easily from the sky thanks to aerial footage.

The videos were curated by the staff at AirVuz, a global aerial media sharing platform, to showcase some of the best aerial footage of the Middle East submitted by content creators from all over the world. The videos remind us that even though parts of the region are war-torn, there are many areas that have become underrated destinations for world travelers.

More drone videos of the Middle East can be found in the curated AirVuz country collections and city drone video collections.  For example, content creators have uploaded a plethora of high quality drone videos of Turkey, as well as its capital city Istanbul which offer incredible skyline views as well as plenty of natural beauty for drone pilots to explore.

AirVuz also has extensive curated collections of drone videos of the United Arab Emirates, and its largest constituent city-state Dubai, which continue to be hot spot for drone pilots. Though drone regulations in Dubai can be strict, many pilots have found ways to safely and legally take video of the eccentric city.  AirVuz also maintains a curated collection of drone videos of Israel.

Thanks to drone videos, we’re able to see footage of countries we may otherwise not think about as beautiful or scenic. Drone company Kelly’s Heroes filmed the destruction of Mosul, Iraq, but also included footage of the city of Ebril, a city 50 miles east of Mosul. The stark contrast is highlighted when seen from an aerial view.

Curated collections of videos from other regions of the world are also accessible for viewers, including regions such as Central Asia, the Caucasus, North Africa and the Mediterranean Islands, all of which border on the Middle East region.
