Thomas Shinick selected as Top CEO of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

Thomas W. Shinick, President and CEO of Corporate Development Partners Inc., and Chairman of U.S. International Business Advisors, was selected as Top CEO of the Year by IAOTP for his outstanding leadership, entrepreneurial ventures, and experience in both Domestic and International Business. 

He has demonstrated success not only in the corporate world, but as a successful educator as well. In addition to his business ventures, he serves as an Adjunct Professor of Business for both Adelphi University and Nassau Community College, specializing in Strategic Management, Marketing, and Decision Sciences. He is an active Advisory Board Member and Chairman Emeritus for the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business at Adelphi where he obtained his MBA degree. Recently, he was  granted one of the School's highest honors, the prestigious "University Teaching Excellence Award."  

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. With over two decades of professional experience as a seasoned  business leader and trusted CEO, Mr. Shinick has certainly proven himself as an accomplished business professional and an expert in entrepreneurship, marketing, business strategy, and small business management. Prior to founding his two companies, he served as a President and Senior Executive for the Rugby Group, a 2600 employee pharmaceutical and professional products manufacturer and distributor.

Being a busy President/CEO and Professor, Mr. Shinick’s key responsibilities and expertise are focused on keeping up with the latest business and marketing trends, creating classroom business curriculum, negotiating client contracts, and developing business and marketing strategies for his U.S, and International corporate business clients. .

Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Shinick has been active in his community and is recognized worldwide for his outstanding leadership and commitment to helping others  build and grow successful businesses. He has received numerous awards and accolades, and is regularly quoted and featured in many business publications and magazines.

 For 2018 he is being considered for the Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Association of Top Professionals.  He is also being considered for a feature in T.I. P. (Top Industry Professional) Magazine.  He was named Outstanding Professional of the Year and Industry Leader of the Year by Who’s Who.  For 2017, he was named Top CEO of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals. He sits on numerous boards and is a member of the Garden City NY Chamber of Commerce.

When he is not working, Tom enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, time with the family, and is a self professed exercise and fitness enthusiast.

As for the future,  Mr.Shinick will continue to help advise and influence others in their business ventures, serve as a mentor to his students, and hopes to continue making a difference in the business lives of people in any way that he can.
