Tattered Flag Project partners with B.J. McLeod Motorsports, NASCAR XFINITY Series Team, for 3 races in the 2017 race season.

The Tattered Flag Project Inc. is excited to announce its partnership with NASCAR XFINITY Series Team, B.J. McLeod Motorsports.

The Tattered Flag Project is emerging to become the preeminent organization undertaking resolving the issues affecting the veterans and first responder community.  By working jointly with charities at the local level that then implement the Project’s “Ladder to success” program, they are actively engaged to “Dropping The D” from the term PTSD (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder).

Operating as a 501(c) 4 organization, The Tattered Flag Project works directly with government agencies, organizations and major corporations to influence policies, implement plans, changes laws, and procedures to ensure that the benefits promised to our veterans are delivered as promised, without compromise or delay.

Thru affiliated national, regional and local partners, The Tattered Flag Project implements “veterans success programs” to eliminate not only the psychological basis for suicide but also the physical, financial and emotional ones as well.  “Awareness of an issue is not a solution to a problem.  Only by moving forward and embracing the whole problem, can solutions be found.”  Stated Zack “Zeus” Brown, National Spokesman for the Project.   “Due to the large number of military connected to NASCAR fans – as well as the number of veterans who work in the sport – We at Tattered Flag Project feel it is only natural to step into the sport to make sure they are included in the help we are providing.”

NASCAR Chief Marketing Officer, Steve Phelps reported in an article that, “NASCAR fans are twice as likely as non-fans to serve in the military and 37 percent of active service members and veterans are NASCAR fans.”[1]

The Tattered Flag Project will be Co-Primary Sponsor on one of B.J. McLeod Motorsports’ car at Texas Motor Speedway, race weekend of November 3^rd-4^th, 2017, and an Associate-Sponsor at Kansas Speedway, race weekend of October 20^th-21^st, 2017 and Phoenix Raceway, race weekend of November 10^th-11^th, 2017.
