Sports Academy and Alemany High Basketball Showcase Set for Oct 14-15

Sports Academy and Alemany High School Boys Basketball have partnered again to host the 2nd Annual Super Fall Showcase at Sports Academy on October 14 and 15. Game times are from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. "This is a great opportunity for coaches and players to prepare for the upcoming season, which is a little over a month away,” said Tray Meeks, Head Varsity Coach for Alemany. “The Sports Academy facility allows us to house over 75 games in one great location!" 

This 60-team showcase will have top Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Frosh/Soph teams from all over Southern California. The schedule will be released early next week via Sports Academy’s Basketball social media accounts @sahqhoops.

The Fall Preview Showcase will utilize Sports Academy’s five basketball courts featuring in-house video capabilities from Playsight. All showcase games will be recorded and streamed live through Sports Academy’s website. There will also be a hospitality room for coaches and media in attendance. “We are excited to host top level and up-and-coming talent here. It’s a great representation of SoCal basketball,” said Shawn Berina, Director of Basketball at Sports Academy. “It’s an excellent opportunity to showcase high school basketball in the area and introduce players and coaches to what we can offer here at Sports Academy, from sport-specific training, integrated sports medicine, to mindset development and more.”
