Sheffield software specialist smiling after Unilever achieves glowing ISO 13485 audit results

Leading UK quality management and compliance specialist Qualsys is delighted as global healthcare brand Unilever achieves flawless ISO 13485 audit results with its software.

 

The Sheffield-headquartered software company has been providing electronic quality management software for Unilever’s Oral Care department for six months. 

 

Based in Port Sunlight, Liverpool, the division of 750 scientists research, develop and market oral health medical products - including toothbrushes and toothpaste.

 

The system has strengthened and integrated the Unilever division’s quality management system and give its sales teams a faster, more efficient route to market.

 

Paulo Ramos, Quality Manager of Oral Care R&D department, said: “Oral Care at Unilever just passed another successful audit against ISO 13485 with zero non-conformities.”

A functioning QMS requires constant measurement of key performance indicators. Unilever’s quality team use the Qualsys EQMS system to track business-critical KPIs such as document approval times, audit trails, training scheduling, issue-reporting and corrective action times.
