Share Lawyers team expands its knowledge base

Members of the Share Lawyers team were pleased to participate in an in-house training session on Friday May 6, 2016 The session was an opportunity to not only parse over new developments in disability law, but was an excellent exercise in knowledge and skill sharing.

The session covered long-term disability claims, skill-building negotiations and advocacy skills.

“We looked at some hot issues in disability insurance- legal issues regarding jurisdiction, ?regarding the interplay between long-term disability and other compensation systems,” said President of Share Lawyers, David Share.

“We hold these sessions to ensure that we keep up-to-date on new developments that may affect the cases we're working on.”

Another session is scheduled for later this month, which will focus on bankruptcy law and how it impacts disability cases. A bankruptcy trustee will be in attendance to share their expertise.
