Sessions College Named Again in Top 10 for Affordability

For the fifth consecutive year, Sessions College has been listed by the U.S. Department of Education as among the 10 most affordable colleges in its category for lowest tuition.

The College Affordability and Transparency Center (CATC) was established in 2011 by the U.S. Department of Education to "provide information for students, parents, and policymakers about college costs at America’s colleges and universities." The website lists top and bottom performing colleges in tuition and net price.

"It has always been our mission to provide affordable, high-quality programs options for students pursuing art and design careers," commented Sessions College CEO Doris Granatowski. "We are pleased to have the achievement  of this mission consistently recognized by the Department of Education."

Offering academically rigorous programs, Sessions Associate of Occupational Studies degree programs achieved a 2017 graduation rate a full 25 percent higher than the national average graduation rate, which includes classroom and online programs.

In addition, Sessions Associate Degree graduates reported a high rate of employment success. Through third party employment verification, 96% of Sessions College Associate Degree graduates reported being employed after graduation, with over 74% of them employed in a creative field.
