Serviceform, Raises 350k$ for a Donor Management Software That Reduces Donation Commissions By Up To 60%

A lot of non-profits, charities and clubs are spending up to 7-9% for each donation as a commission, a lot of donations wasted. Serviceform provides an alternative for non-profits and charities. Instead of paying commissions from donations, Serviceform provides donation forms, campaign building tools with a low monthly fee. Serviceform has partnered up with Stripe to reduce fees down to only basic credit card processing fees.

The round was lead by Gorilla Capital, a Finnish VC investing in early stage companies, and joined by a syndicate of four angel investors with SaaS and marketing backgrounds, including Matias Mäenpää (Leap Oy), Anssi Kiviranta (Leap Oy), Mikko Nurminen and Antti Ala-Ilkka. The investors will also join Serviceform as an advisory board.

The round was also joined by Business Finland a public funding agency in Finland. The funding will be used for building a totally scalable version of the product for targeting global markets.

Serviceform emerged from the story of another business. The founders Iranthi Gomes and Jarkko Oksanen built a booking solution for their previous business, and then realized it would help others as well. The founders used their own money to create a prototype and found their first customers in early 2018.

Serviceform is already in use by service businesses around the world, mainly in the UK, USA and Australia, and is available in four different languages. Customers also use the software as a booking solution and scheduling software.

The long term goal of Serviceform is to create a solution that changes how small businesses communicate with their customers.
