San Jacinto Mall Hosts Prom & Easter Fashion Show Saturday, March 19

3/2/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET) -- The season’s latest style trends will hit the runway during the Prom & Easter Fashion Show at San Jacinto Mall, Saturday, March 19 beginning at 2 pm.

The event will give the community the chance to check out the season’s best hair, make-up, apparel and accessory trends while enjoying music and giveaways. The first 100 guests to attend the fashion show will receive a free gift — a classic black and white mini tote bag. There will also be food samples and shopping incentives from participating retailers.

“We all know about Easter egg hunts, but for teens, it’s all about the prom dress hunt,” said Mary Evans, general manager of San Jacinto Mall. “For our fashion show, we’ve chosen a collection of the best spring and prom looks available from our stores to show parents and students a variety of exciting options so they can put their best foot forward during these very special occasions.”

Hosted by San Jacinto Mall, the Prom & Easter Fashion Show will be presented by models from Strut Houston.  Featured retailers will include Eternity, Suitology and Sun Rise Mods. In addition, department store anchors Macy’s and JCPenney will be showcasing top trends for spring apparel and prom dresses.

In apparel, spring’s top looks include vibrant hues, bold stripes and clever twists on familiar staples, statement earrings, and off the shoulder and cutout looks.

For prom, this year’s go-to looks include short flirty dresses that show off legs — and killer shoes, crop tops as part of a two-piece set, and lots of lace, to name a few.

A one-stop shop for prom and Easter style, San Jacinto Mall is home to over 80 retailers, including men’s, women’s and children’s apparel and shoe stores, hair, nail and brow salons, jewelry stores and other health and beauty shops.
