“PUNK BASS SCHOOL” - A REVOLUTION IN MUSIC EDUCATION

A conceptually new and innovative approach to teaching bass guitar, combined with personalized methodology and modern techniques is about to become available to the world, as the Punk Bass School is proud to announce its grand opening, set for April 10, 2018. 

Hailing from distant Russia, Sergei Dudin, an award-winning musician, educator and a bassist extraordinaire is excited to welcome the young and the old to an incredible world of the “bass-craft”.

“There are just too many music schools out there, and all of them focus on either classical or jazz education as if the rest of the genres don’t even matter.But what about them, teen spirits, jamming in a garage band, dreaming of touring the world, playing punk and rock’n’roll? I wanted to offer a completely new way of approaching the instrument, diving into the realms of music, not typically touched by the academia.This notion gave rise to the idea to open a boldly new establishment – a “Punk Bass School” – says Sergei Dudin, the founder, and the lead instructor.

Sergei Dudin, a professional touring musician who brings to the table his many years of experience and expertise in European punk rock music. A former leader of his very own band “The Flangers” who made it into the “Rock Music of Russia” encyclopedia, he rose to fame and international recognition owing to his distinct recognizable sound, while The Flangers were called the “Best Punk Rock band” of his hometown of Tula.
