Producer and top script consultant Wendy Kram returns to Seattle for SIFF eattle's International Film Festival

Last month, the NwSG (Northwest Screenwriters Guild) was fortunate enough to host top screenplay consultant and industry coach Wendy Kram with her insightful and fun class on cold-calling to open Hollywood doors. Wendy is returning to Seattle by popular demand for the remaining days of SIFF (Seattle International Film Festival) June 7 – 10, 2018. Wendy, who is also a producer with over 20 years of experience developing and producing projects with Hollywood major studios, networks and cable companies, brings her expertise for two additional workshops as well as the opportunity for writers to pitch their projects.

Wendy, whose credits include the feature “Mad Money” with Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah and Katie Holmes, directed by Oscar winning writer/director Callie Khouri (“Thelma & Louise”), and “Sally Hemings: An American Scandal”, the award-winning CBS miniseries, will offer the following: 

Workshop: “Mastering Your Cold-Call to Open Hollywood Doors”

Workshop Description:

  • Present a two-minute elevator pitch about your background, career specialty (actor, writer, author, producer), and logline for your film or TV project.
  • Receive live feedback from Wendy on your pitch, learning what works and why
  • Practice a series of responses that are easy to deliver, engaging, and effective at getting gatekeepers to lower the drawbridge
