OnCore Golf’s ELIXR™ Ball to be Sold at Wegmans

OnCore Golf announced that Wegmans will sell OnCore Golf’s tour ball the ELIXR™ across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic in all of Wegmans’ 92 stores.  In making the announcement, OnCore’s President, John Koelmel noted, “Wegmans is recognized as “best in breed” in the grocery retailing business and has continuously set the bar for positive customer experiences with their “Every Day You Get Our Best” commitment.  Given that both brands were founded and are headquartered in Upstate New York, we are very proud to join forces with them to bring the best in golf ball technology to all of their customers.”

The ELIXR is receiving nothing but rave reviews including being named to Golf Digest’s 2017 Golf Ball Hot List.  To achieve that distinction, the ELIXR™ competed against all of the top premium balls in the golf market. Over 33,000 balls were tested and judged based on performance, look/sound/feel, innovation and demand.

“The ball will initially be available this week in ten Wegmans stores in Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse as well as four stores in Virginia,” said Steve Coulton, OnCore’s Vice President of Sales.  “Distribution will be expanded to include half of the retailer’s locations before Memorial Day and then across all of its outlets by Father’s Day.  Wegmans will be the only major retailer in their markets carrying the ELIXR.”
