Mike Daniel Named CEO of Final Cut Media

Final Cut Media announced today that Mike Daniel has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Daniel previously held the position of Chief Marketing Officer, a role he held for three years.

“Mike Daniel has led Final Cut’s growth and evolution over the last three years, transitioning from a video production house to the region’s premier creative firm” said Sam Kneiss, founder and former CEO. “Mike is a proved leader with a deep understanding of digital marketing, brand development, and digital media. His vision for how marketing is evolving to a content-first philosophy is what Final Cut Media needs as it enters its next chapter, with a larger emphasis on branding, creative, and best-in-class film and video production”.

Since joining Final Cut Media in 2015, Mike has spearheaded major strategy shifts across the agency’s service lines. Most notably the firm’s transition from video production to a full-service content marketing agency – merging video with graphic design, web development, and branding. This has resulted in the largest growth period in the firm’s history.

Final Cut Media also announced that Sam Kneiss, previously Chief Executive Officer, will assume a new role as Founder and Chief Financial Officer, and will devote more time to supporting Mike in shaping growth objectives and strategic initiatives. Marco Sanchez also joins Final Cut as its Director of production, overseeing the film & video production unit.
