Midwood Guitar Studio of Charlotte Named One of the Top 100 Music Stores in the World

Midwood Guitar Studio of Charlotte, NC has been named a Top 100 Dealer by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), the global association of music instruments and pro audio products. The store was also recognized with the Best Store Design award by the global industry organization. The award was presented on Friday, June 29 at the Summer NAMM Show in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Top 100 Awards honor retail musical instrument dealers who demonstrate exceptional commitment to their stores, neighborhoods, customers and also share in a vision to create a more musical world through their local communities. Speaking during the awarding ceremony, Joe Lamond, NAMM President and CEO said, 

“At the heart of every music store, there is a story of inspiration, dedication and a pursuit to create a more musical world”.

He also applauded the efforts made by Midwood Guitar Studio of Charlotte saying,

“Midwood exemplifies that commitment to their community, their staff, and the industry to create a space which welcomes and inspires music makers through their products and services. “

Dubbed the ‘retail Oscars’ by Music Inc. magazine, NAMM’s Top 100 Dealer Awards spotlights the industry’s very best music product retailers. In order to determine the Top 100 list, an independent panel of judges reviewed hundreds of submissions that are rated across categories that include customer service, music advocacy, store design, and promotions. 

On his side the company CEO, Douglas Armstrong thanked all the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) for recognizing the efforts of the company. He said;
