The show is an exclusive backstage pass to this unique genre that has started the careers of Tyler Perry and David E. Talbert. Even talk show host and comedian, Steve Harvey co-signed Lawrence by saying “now Hollywood is looking for the next Tyler so there’s JD Lawrence”. Lawrence will be the first playwright in history to have a docuseries following the mounting of a national stage play.
