Meet Urban Theater’s Newest Cross Over And Breakout Star JD Lawrence

It’s Monday morning and business as usual in midtown Manhattan as we caught up with JD Lawrence the man behind the new Bravo series “Your Husband Is Cheating On Us”. The show is an exclusive backstage pass to this unique genre that has started the careers of Tyler Perry and David E. Talbert. Even talk show host and comedian, Steve Harvey co-signed Lawrence by saying “now Hollywood is looking for the next Tyler so there’s JD Lawrence”. Lawrence will be the first playwright in history to have a docuseries following the mounting of a national stage play.  Lawrence bosses up on the Bravo series as he joins the ranks of Bravo stars Andy Cohen, Lisa Vanderpump  and NeNe Leaks. The drama unfolds as Lawrence and his daughters put cast members in a house to live together for eight weeks. R&B singer Ginuwine is among the cast. The drama is non-stop as this group try to give JD a run for his money. Despite the obvious drama, there’s a light-hearted comedic spin to the show that audiences can’t get enough of.
