The defendant was driving on a Tennessee roadway when he or she swerved to avoid hitting another vehicle on the road and instead hit the claimant. The claimant suffered primarily neck and back injuries, which required nine months of treatment that included physical therapy and chiropractic care.

Two years after the accident, he still had not received any settlement offers. The defendant claimed that the wreck was another drivers’ fault. Yet, Brent was able to review the details of the case and prepare for trial so his client could receive the compensation he deserved. 

Initially, his injuries were minimized and his emergency bill, which was around $2,000, was the only expense that was going to be covered. Instead, Brent argued that his client deserved to receive more than $2,000 for his injuries.  

The jury agreed to grant the injured victim compensation to cover his medical expenses and the damages he suffered.
