Martin Merianos got interested in freelance photography during his high-school days when he started studying portrait, underwater, and commercial photography. A scuba-diving aficionado, he started wildlife photography in spare time after graduation before turning a pro. 

Martin Merianos mentions that his new book “Harry Pawter and the Golden Spoon” is heavily influenced by the television show Good Eats hosted by Alton Brown on the Food Network. Martin was intrigued by this show particularly because of the way it created a fusion between food and humor.
