MAJOR MILESTONE ACHIEVED AT 908 BEL AIR ROAD

Ganesh Bel-Air LLC is pleased to announce a new milestone in the development of the 908 Bel Air Road home. With all base building inspections passed on the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler systems, the house has now moved into the finishes and landscape phase of the project.

 “908 Bel-Air Road has easily become one my favorite projects we have designed. We are excited to truly see our ideas come to life. We knew the vision was there and are proud of the team execution to date,” said Paul McClean, owner of McClean Design.

Collaborating with LMID Inc. on interior design, McClean created a warm, contemporary material palette throughout the home, with the finishes extending to the exterior living environment. Careful consideration was applied to the selection of Marble/ Stone. Nilo Brown, Basaltina, Black Absolute Granite, Jade Marble, Super Thassos, Snow Root Marble, Vanilla Pearl Marble, Tundra Grey Marble, and White Onyx have been sourced direct from luxury Italian stone suppliers and applied to Walls, Floors, Fire Places, Counter Tops, for the thirty-four thousand square foot home. These precious stones will be complemented by Italian custom closets and cabinetry from Poliform and Ernestomeda as well as local custom cabinets from Fun Time. Custom Light Fixtures/ Chandeliers are being designed by Nicole Fuller for the entry and dining room. The home will also feature generous Wellness Center, including a unique gym designed by Harley Pasternak, taking advantage of the immense view from Los Angeles’s downtown skyline to the Pacific Ocean.

In addition to the interiors finishes of the home, the exterior finishes serve to highlight the size and architectural proportions of the home. Portuguese limestone will clad the exterior of façade of the home, nestled between solid, black steel beams. Settled between the Portuguese limestone slabs are floor to ceiling operable sliding windows that maximize the natural light within the home on every level. This limestone is accompanied by Raven Black slabs along with an exterior entry green wall and water feature to establish an intimate, serene environment when entering the home.

The exterior of the house will work in harmony with an exquisite and detailed landscape that is set to bloom on site this upcoming spring. Soon trees and shrubbery will dot the home’s hillside highlighting the lush beauty found in the basin below. Magonlia and Canary Island Palm trees will line the front of the house along Bel Air Road to provide a sound and visual buffer from the road. Olive, Champaca, and Loquat trees will fill in the hillside along the southern property line. Amongst these trees will be a complementary array of ginger, lavender, and star jasmine. These trees will surround a terraced vegetable garden to serve the needs of the future home owner. However, all the landscaping serves as a backdrop to the eight thousand square foot grand lawn, a rarity within the hillsides of Bel Air.

Developed by Ganesh Bel Air LLC, Architectural design by McClean Design, Interior Design by LMID Inc, constructed by Tyler Development Corporation, and managed by Plus Development, the eight bedroom, nineteen bathroom home will establish a new benchmark in the high-end luxury residential market. Sitting on 1.18 acres of land, key features of the residence include twelve-foot-high ceilings, an outdoor kitchen, a stainless steel commercial kitchen, three bars, master bedrooms with see through fireplaces, his and hers bathrooms, a glass-encase main staircase, steam rooms, a twenty-nine-seat theater designed by BAM Luxury, a rooftop terrace and bar, and a twenty-four-thousand-gallon infinity pool.
