Living Wisdom School Celebrates Gala Open House and Ribbon Cutting in Lynnwood

On Wednesday, October 26, Living Wisdom School of Seattle will be celebrating with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony after relocating their school from Shoreline to Lynnwood.  This new location is conveniently located to serve all North-End communities and families with Preschool through Grade 8.

Senator Rosemary McAuliffe will speak, along with Lynnwood Councilperson Shirley Sutton and author Susan Usha Dermond. Students, families, community members and ALL interested are invited to join in the celebration. After the ribbon cutting, there will be opportunities to meet the staff and view the campus. Event will include activities for children and hors d’oeuvres.

Based on the Education for Life system, which has thrived for over 40 years, the school was founded in 2006 in the Seattle area and has evolved to its present size serving Preschool through Grade 8.  This new location will allow for projected growth and expansion.  Living Wisdom School is committed to small class sizes with individualized teaching that emphasizes joyful, experiential learning.  Children receive strong academic training, in tandem with self-awareness development through meditation, yoga, nature activities and the arts.  Both children and parents are given “how-to-live” tools that will inspire children to develop into compassionate and happy adults.
