Dr. Jimmy Wu, a dentist in La Mesa, has again been honored as a Top Dentist in San Diego Magazine. Dr. Wu is the head of Sutra Dental Spa, a practice offering a comprehensive array of general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry options. With this latest Top Dentist distinction, Dr. Wu is among a select group of dentists in the San Diego area to be recognized as providing an outstanding level of care.
Each year, San Diego Magazine publishes the selection of Top Dentists in the region based on the annual topDentists™ list. The honorees are recognized based on evaluations and votes submitted by other dental professionals who are asked: “If you had a patient in need of a dentist, which dentist would you refer them to?” When making their nominations, voters are asked to evaluate several factors, including the nominee’s experience level, commitment to continuing education, utilization of new techniques, and interaction with patients. Once the votes are tallied, the selected dentists’ backgrounds are reviewed through state dental boards to verify that they are in good standing and have an active license to practice. Finally, the winners are named to the national topDentists™ list and those in the San Diego area are recognized in San Diego Magazine.
Dr. Wu has been recognized on the topDentists™ list every year since 2006, and can be found in San Diego Magazine’s April, 2019 issue and on the publication’s website.
