Knoxville Service Tech Pitches in for Wreaths Across America

  KNOXVILLE, TN - 12/22/2017 (PRESS RELEASE JET)

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, Wreaths Across America’s mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as over 1,200 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad.

This year is no exception, with three different National Cemeteries in Knoxville, Tennessee, Wreaths Across America looks for volunteers to help with the wreath-laying ceremony.

Worldwide Equipment tech, John Fitzgibbon, and his father, Donald, have a personal connection to Wreaths Across America. Tragically, John’s younger brother, PFC Patrick Fitzgibbon, passed away serving in Afghanistan several years ago. To honor his legacy, John and his father have decided, for another year, to volunteer as wreath layers for the three National Cemeteries in Knoxville.

In support of the Fitzgibbons and the Wreaths Across America program, Colonial Freight and Skyline Transportation pitched in providing storage for the wreaths. Also, Worldwide Equipment donated two WE Lease box trucks for delivery.

Worldwide Equipment is proud of the Fitzgibbons and their commitment to those who paid the ultimate price for our country. Because of people like the Fitzgibbons, many of these veterans families will have a brighter holiday.
