Janice Wilson-Foster selected as Top Fundraising Consultant of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

Janice Wilson-Foster, Founder and Fundraising Consultant for Janice A Wilson Fundraising, has been selected as Top Fundraising Consultant of the Year or 2017 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP), for her outstanding leadership in business and as an outstanding entrepreneur.

With over 3 decades of professional experience as a Fundraising Professional, Janice has certainly proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in many fields.  As a dynamic, results-driven leader, she has demonstrated success not only in Fundraising but she has helped to establish Foundations, conduct annual appeals, manage special events and has worked nationally for diverse clients inclusive of welfare agencies, universities, schools, hospitals, medical research institutes and other non-profit organizations.   Janice’s key responsibilities for the company is to give professional advice for all aspects of fundraising for non-profits and educational institutions; conducts fundraising feasibility studies for institutional readiness; conducts capital campaigns; establishes foundations; writes and produces fundraising audio visuals; newsletter production; major gift programs and bequest programs. 

Janice has an impressive repertoire of prior roles including Capital Campaign Director for The University of Queensland, Major Gifts Director for Yalari Limited, Inaugural Director for the Queensland Museum Foundation and Philanthropy Manager for La Boite Theatre Company.  Throughout the years Janice has grown a referral based business where she has gained her clients’ trust and they refer and recommend others to her.  Her strong communication skills and quick analytical skills allow her to assist her clients in all business development situations.

Throughout her illustrious career Janice has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and for her commitment to be active in her community.  For 2018 she is being considered for the Lifetime Achievement Award and Top Female Executive Award by the International Association of Top Professionals.  She is also being considered to have a feature in T.I.P (Top Industry Professional Magazine.) For 2017 she was selected as Top Fundraising Consultant of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals.  She has been a Board Member of the Starlight Children’s Foundation Queensland; a 2004 Queensland Finalist in the Telstra Australian Business Woman of the Year Awards and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra Foundation. In 2013 she received Outstanding Professional of the Year by Cambridge Publishing for her excellence as an entrepreneur. 

Looking back, Janice attributes her success to her training, her experience in a variety of different positions, her perseverance, mentors she has had along the way, and her passion for helping professionals to reach their goals.  For the future, she will continue to grow as a professional through continued training, grow her business through her passion to continue to make a difference in people’s lives any way she can.
