Inaugural Ice Cream Bash Featuring Live Music to be Celebrated in Iowa This Summer

The annual Le Mars Ice Cream Days will have a new event this year featuring late-night celebrations, food and music. The inaugural Ice Cream Bash is the official after-party of the annual Ice Cream Days, which are held each summer in Le Mars, Iowa, home of Blue Bunny, and known as the ice cream capital of the world. 

Capping off the annual four-day event, the Ice Cream Bash, formerly known as the Plymouth County Summer Bash, will feature food, drinks and country music acts on stage for those who want to continue the festivities into the night.  

Iowa-based LED-display provider and events production company Insane Impact is helping to coordinate the event and will be showcasing its huge video displays for the event to transform the bash into a true party. 

Insane Impact is no stranger to the events scene in Le Mars, producing the Plymouth County Summer Bash the past two years. 

“The decision to partner with the Ice Cream Days on this event made a lot of sense,” says Tod Puetz, founder and CEO of Insane Impact and a Le Mars native. “I’ve always had aspirations of creating something bigger, and this opportunity with the Le Mars Chamber of Commerce allows us to rebrand our event into something more meaningful and timely. The Ice Cream Bash will help us reach a wider audience, and we at Insane Impact are ready to keep them entertained throughout the night.”

The Ice Cream Bash will be held at the Plymouth County Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 16, 2018, with festivities beginning at 6:00 pm.
