In An Effort to Keep Schools and Communities Safe, BBD Capital Announces Partnership with Defense Company Specializing in Less-Lethal Firearms and Tactical Weapon Solutions

BBD Capital, a private equity firm headquartered in Austin, TX, announces their partnership with Defenzia, LLC, a leading defense company that specializes in creating protective shields and less lethal firearms and weapons for civilians as well as federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.

Defenzia’s firearm solutions are designed to tackle shooting threats in a fast, safe, and reliable manner by temporarily incapacitating someone. The company’s less-lethal firearms deploy a variety of defensive rounds using a .55 caliber rubber bullet that travels 400 feet per second, in addition to OC pepper gel rounds, and a muzzle blast flash-bang round, equivalent to 68 pounds of force. The rubber bullet technology gives protection while dramatically reducing cases where the use of lethal firearms is necessary. Additionally, Defenzia has created a shield that works with a built-in 12 round weapon system featuring an integrated laser and select fire for flash bangs, impact munitions, and OC delivery.
