HollyFrontier Awards Renewable Diesel EPCm Contract to KP Engineering

KP Engineering (“KPE”), an industry leader in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions, has been awarded an EPCm contract by Artesia Renewable Diesel Company LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of HollyFrontier Corporation (NYSE: HFC) to provide engineering, procurement services and construction management (EPCm) for the on-site portion of a new Renewable Diesel production facility to be located at HollyFrontier’s Artesia, New Mexico refinery.

The new Renewable Diesel Unit will produce 9,000 barrels/day of renewable diesel, produced completely from sustainable vegetable oils. The on-site portion of the plant is based on HydroFlex™ technology provided by Haldor Topsoe.

The RDU is scheduled to be in operation in the first quarter of 2022.
