HIP-HOP ARTIST, MONSTARR’S HIGHLY ANTICIPATED ALBUM “ROTATION,” RELEASED ON ALL MUSIC OUTLETS!

Carlos Alvarez (known as Monstarr), a New Jersey-based hip-hop artist, engineer, producer, and performer born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, is debuting his exclusive new album, “Rotation” on all music platforms.

Rotation is a compilation of smooth melodies, eccentric hybrid beats, urban funk, and Latin infused interludes. It draws on personal elements from Monstarr’s rough New Jersey upbringing coupled with his experiences as an immigrant from Honduras. Monstarr describes his Classic Hip-Hop and Trap Soul album as “a collection of personal experiences that I was able to compose and share with the public.”

As Former Def Jam Recordings executive –Rob Love– put it, “Brace yourselves, this ride is different!”

Monstarr has secured himself as a solid up-and-coming artist in the greater New York City region, having been featured on New York’s Hot 97.1IFM’s “Who’s Next,” and was ranked one of the top three artists for three consecutive months on the channel. To date, he has been cosigned by some of the world’s top DJs, including the likes of DJ Drewski, DJ Wallah, DJ Carmilo, and more.

In April of 2017, Monstarr’s single “Getaway,” that appears on Rotation, was played on Hot 97.1FM by DJ Drewski.

“Rotation, to me, means to keep my songs in play and/or keep it in flow,” says Monstarr, “I created this album to stay in rotation.” Monstarr is excited to expose the album to the world on all music streams including: Spotify, Tidal, iTunes, SoundCloud, YouTube, Google Play Music, and iHeart Radio all available on May 20, 2017.
