HEROZONA TO BRING THE BEST OF NaVOBA CONFERENCE HAPPENING DURING NATIONAL VETERANS WEEK IN PHOENIX, AZ, NOVEMBER 12-17

HEROZONA, an event that honors veterans is a one-week long event of festivities to take place during National Veterans Week November 12-17 in Phoenix, Arizona. The festivities will begin November 4-12, 2017 at the Phoenix Metropolitan arena, including Phoenix Convention Center, Steele Indian School Park & more! NaVOBA is the National Veteran Owned Businesses Association. NaVOBA’s upcoming conference will be held on Thursday, November 9^th and Friday November 10^th.

The festivities that coincides with HeroZona will be a multi-day networking experience projected to improve America’s support of veterans, through corporate matchmaking, networking, entrepreneurial connections, hiring, development and more. NaVOBA will present the “Vetreprenuer Of the Year” Award and will also feature seminars, and various entertainment offerings including the Veterans Day Parade, Free Salute to Service Festival, ASU football game, NASCAR & The NBA Game that will honor disabled veteran businesses. 

HeroZona will be taking place in the Arizona cities of Tempe, Phoenix and Avondale. While the NaVOBA conference will call the Phoenix Convention Center South Building home Thursday, November 9 and Friday, November 10. Both organizations in tandem will bring together the best of services, information and support to Vets and especially Veteran business owners.  

The Checkered Flag Run Foundation, NaVOBA, Nielsen, Arizona Department of Veteran Services, Golden Rule Live, R-Entertainment and The City of Phoenix recently launched Herozona (http://www.herozona.com) during  the annual Celebrate Arizona Brunch in Washington, DC on September 23, 2017, during the Congressional Black Caucus. The Inaugural Herozona will honor U.S. Arizona Senator- John McCain for The Herozona Lifetime Service Award 2017.
