HEALTHeWeather Introduces Climate Science-based Solution for Asthma Triggers

HEALTHeWeather CEO, Eric Klos, is visiting, ‘Climate City’, Asheville, North Carolina, to introduce a vision for bringing personalized weather insights for better patient health.On Wednesday, November 8^th, Mr. Klos, will be the featured presenter at the Million Cups of Coffee event in the Asheville Social Hall at RISC Networks at 9:00AM. He will present his vision for HEALTHeWeather, a platform-as-a-service (PAAS) software company, that recently launched its 1^st solution, DailyBreath, targeting over 50 million allergy and asthma sufferers.

HEALTHeWeather will be joining Clean Air Carolina on the evening of Wednesday, November 8^th, at The Collider, as it launches its AirKeepers program in Asheville. Clean Air Carolina has begun building an unprecedented monitoring network across North Carolina. Attendees will learn how the AirKeepers program is advancing citizen science and air quality education. They will learn how to become an AirKeeper, and be a part of changing the way we locate, track, and mitigate toxics in our air.

On Thursday, November 9^th, Mr. Klos is scheduled to participate as a speaker in an afternoon session on tools and technology personalizing public health for the Climate and Respiratory Health Workshop on Thursday, November 9^th.He will present HEALTHeWeather’s DailyBreath, a service delivered via mobile app, that provides a daily personalized health, weather forecast with dynamic flare-up tracking for allergy and asthma sufferers. 

The Workshop is being held at The Collider, a nonprofit innovation center in Asheville, North Carolina, focused on catalyzing market-driven climate solutions.This interdisciplinary event, convened by CASE Consultants International, brings together climate scientists, environmental and public health professionals and technologists to learn about threats and opportunities in climate and respiratory health.HEALTHeWeather is a member of The Collider and has already benefitted from collaborations as a result of its membership.
