Harmony Project National Division Launches Crowdfunding Campaign to Empower Low-income Students Through Music

Children are our future. This is far more than a catch phrase. Harmony Project National Division takes this to heart with their efforts to help children living in low-income communities across America transcend their challenges through a unique music-based program. Harmony Project’s crowdfunding campaign goal of $100,000 will be used to engage more under served children and help them succeed in college and in life.

Throughout the United States schools are continuing to remove classes in art and music. Harmony Project National Division works with affiliates across America to bring music back into the lives of less privileged children who face huge challenges and too often fall through the cracks.

Harmony Project programs include four to ten hours of music classes and rehearsals per student per week, with professional teaching artists and peer mentors. Students learn to work together in large and small ensembles over multiple years, and receive musical instruments through loan programs. Harmony Project commits to students throughout childhood, from ages 4 to 18.
