Guido De Rijck selected as Top Designer and Male Visionary of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

Guido De Rijck, Owner & Founder of G-U-I-D-O Surfaces and Great -Floors has been selected by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) as “Top Designer of the Year” for 2017 and Male Visionary of the Year!  Guido is being recognized for his 2 decades that he has dedicated to the design industry and for his keen eye for space, style and his passion for decorating in the most purest form.

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. Guido is a world renowned top international designer and decorator based in Belgium who specializes in decoration, restoration, design, and interior design.   His extraordinary talent has allowed him the opportunity to decorate high-end homes across the world, and he has established key partnerships with very high end clients and prestigious architects and decorators.
 
He studied chemistry, as well as natural mineral building materials and restoration, renovation techniques from distinguished experts across the industry. His appreciation of natural products and expertise working with natural materials and minerals has set him apart in his career. Guido produces his own mineral paint, stucco and uses his own wood aging techniques that are completely natural and earth friendly.  He has been using natural, energy efficient light crystals and natural handmade paint finishes, to produce unique jewelry pieces, artwork, mineral green flooring, mineral bio surfaces, wall art and has also been used in his in ground pool designs.

Throughout his illustrious career Guido has received many awards and accolades.  His leadership and commitment to the profession along with his brilliant masterpieces have given him recognition around the world. For 2018 he is being considered for the International Association of Top Professionals Lifetime Achievement Award.  For 2017 he was selected to be featured on a 4 page spread in T.I.P. Magazine (Top Industry Professional) and selected as Top Male Visionary of the Year.  In 2016 he was named “Top Designer of the Year” by the International Association of Top Professionals and selected as “Outstanding Professional of the Year” with Bristol Who's Who.  He has worked for famous designers such as Piet Boon , Thijs Murré  , De Appelboom , Calvin Klein, Garnier , Dankers …He was chosen to restore the private house of Pablo Picasso in France end the private house of Calvin Klein in Miami as well as many other celebrities thru out the globe.

Guido speaks fluent German, French, English and dutch.  When not busy working, he volunteers his time to help children with cancer, tending his horse farm, and being creative.
