Miami’s award-winning Government Contracting and leading small business development expert Rafael Marrero has been announced among a select group of Honored Speakers during the FSMSDC’s 31st Annual Business Expo Friday, April 29, 2016 from 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Broward County Conventions Center in Ft. Lauderdale. Mr. Marrero, the CEO of Rafael Marrero & Company will be presenting on “Selling Goods and Services to Federal, State and Local Governments.” His firm is a nationally certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) assisting other Veteran-Owned, Minority, Women, and Small Businesses become strategic suppliers in the private and public sectors. Marrero also serves as the Government Contracting Chair of the FSMSDC’s MBE Input Committee.

Rafael Marrero is a former Fortune 500 management executive with 30+ years diversified experience as Chief of Staff, Director of Projects, Deputy Chief Information Officer (CIO), and VP of Vendor Management in the telecom, and energy sectors. He was also Director and founder of MasTec's Government Solutions Group (NYSE:MTZ).
