Foot & Ankle Surgeon from South Florida, Dr. Alan MacGill With Spine & Orthopedic Center, Named One of 2017 America’s Most Influential Podiatrists

Alan A. MacGill, DPM, a board certified foot and ankle surgeon, currently on staff at Spine & Orthopedic Center with offices in Boynton Beach, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Coral Springs and Plantation, has been named one of the 2017 America’s Most Influential Podiatrists.  This exclusive list of renowned DPMs is selected every 5 years and represent a cross-section of the country and some of the brightest lights in the podiatric profession.

The list is selected by Podiatry Management (PM), a premier national practice management and magazine for the podiatric profession publishing weekly articles and features of interest to the podiatric community. “This diverse group ranges from well-known legends to up-and-coming superstars.” states PM on their publication of America’s Most Influential Podiatrists.

Dr. Alan MacGill, is a highly respected podiatric surgeon practicing in Florida for more than 10 years.  He graduated in the top 10th percentile of his class from The College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago, IL followed by his residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL.  Dr. MacGill was selected for the prestigious AO International Trauma Fellowship with Sigvard Hansen, Jr., M.D. gaining additional training in total ankle replacement as well as complex Charcot foot and ankle reconstruction.

Dr. MacGill is certified by The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot surgery as well as reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, the latter of which is achieved by only a fraction of foot and ankle surgeons in the country.  He is also a certified wound specialist by The American Board of Wound Management.  Dr. MacGill currently serves as the Florida Regional President of The American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and as the Director of the Foot and Ankle Surgery residency program at Northwest Medical Center in Broward county, FL.
