The Fookie-man and his Fudge Goddess are coming to the Cupcakelicious Sweet Shop in downtown Woodstock, GA!

Greg and Lisa Dobson, fudge masters from Rocklin, California and creators of the latest sweet sensation – Fookies – will arrive Saturday, June 3 to officially launch the east coast retail distribution of their unique Fookie and Fudge-A-licious products.

The Dobsons will be hosted by Toni and Tony Tortorici, co-owners of Bella Dolci LLC, parent company of Cupcakelicious. The public is invited to meet the Dobsons and sample their Fookies and Fudge-A-licious fudge from 1p-3p and 6p-9p at the Cupcakelicious Sweet Shop, 8654 Main Street.

What the fudge is a Fookie, you ask?

Fookies are sweet treats that start with a “delicious cookie base covered with a layer of mouth-watering Fudge-A-licious fudge made with fresh ingredients according to original family recipes,” as described on the Dobsons’ website at www.fookie.net. Fookies come in seven flavors, three of which will be featured at $3 each in 2 ounce packages during the introduction – original, caramel and peanut butter. In addition, the original Fudge-A-licious fudge will be available at $6 each in 4 ounce boxes.

The Dobsons own and operate Fookie shops in Rocklin, Northstar and San Francisco, California with locations in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada coming soon.  

ABC-TV’s morning show, The Chew, recently featured four Fookie flavors – Original, Crazy-4-Caramel, Peanut Butter Deliciousness and Fook-A-Doodle.

“I saw them on The Chew where everyone was raving about the Fookies and I just knew we had to have them for our customers in downtown Woodstock. And now we do!” said Mrs. Tortorici. She was formerly with Hallmark, Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus before launching her chocolate specialties business – Bella Dolci LLC - in 2013. She and her husband acquired the Cupcakelicious business in 2014.

The Tortoricis’ Cupcakelicious shop features their made-from-scratch cupcakes and special order cakes, French macarons from the Macaron Queen, Greenwood ice cream, King of Pops popsicles, Sweet Shop USA truffles and Bella Dolci specialty chocolate items.
