Drift Launches Brand New Website Full of Surprises

College Station, Texas: After 8 years in business Drift has launched a new website highlighting their work across multiple industries. Drift bills themselves as an advertising firm that creates smarter strategy that leads to harder working creative. On their new site Drift highlights work from their home town of College Station, TX, work from company across the state and country, and work from international clients such as the International Coffee Organization. 

One of the projects featured is a new website for the iconic Dixie Chicken. Adam Drake, marketing manager for the Dixie Chicken said this about Drift, “They are amazing to work with and made, in our humble opinion, one of the best websites we've ever seen!”

The new website is full of Easter eggs, and is really a delight to browse. On the team member pages, the personality of each member shines through. After reading through the culture section it is easy to feel like you have a personal relationship with every employee at Drift. 

The culture page also features the Drift origin story, which is unique to say the least. In 2009, a few days after graduating from Texas A&M University, Martin and Gavin hit the road and embarked on a journey to design their way across America. They called it Drifting Creatives. Connecting with other creatives along the way, they shared and learned. Together they interviewed creatives about their love for design and found ways to pay for the entire trip from the design gigs picked up along the way. Starting from nothing, they cold-called and social-ed their way across America and even up into Canada for a short stint.

During the five-month trek, Martin and Gavin were featured in two design magazines, spoke at conferences and creative meet-ups, gave guest lectures to students of the trade. But most importantly, they learned more on the road than they ever thought possible. Taking lessons in adventurous exploration, social transparency, and the endless search for awesome, the foundation of Drifting Creatives was born.
