Dr. Rogers Okot-Uma selected as Top CEO of the Year in Mathematics by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

Dr. Rogers Wod' Olobo Okot-Uma Owner/Proprietor of SFI Academy of Mathematics, Physics, and History was selected as Top CEO in Mathematics Sector by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP), for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the field.  

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. With over 2 decades of professional experience as a seasoned and esteemed international mathematician, physicist and systems engineer, Dr. Okot-Uma has certainly proven himself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field.He has demonstrated success not only in mathematics and physics but also as a successful Professor and entrepreneur.Currently, he is the Owner and Proprietor of the SFI Mobile Academy of Mathematics, Physics, ICT4D and Luuo EthnoHistory, under auspices which, inter aliae, he mentors students on a one to one baseis in mathematics and physics at the sixth form and degree levels.The Academy is part of an outward-looking organizational entity known as Studies Forum International (SFI), which comprises the SFI Academy, SFI Publishing and SFI Consulting. His key responsibilities include working as an independent information technology and services professional, consulting and advising a broad range of clientele in, among others, the areas of ICT4D, Public Sector Informatics and Electronic Governance.In the pursuit of his academic interests, Dr. Okot-Uma is currently working on a project entitled The Physics of the Physiology and Anatomy of the Human Body.

Dr. Okot-Uma received his PhD from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, in the area of Improving International Relations Conferences Through Virtual Interactions: Embodying a multi-agent Z Specification.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Okot-Uma has been active in his community and recognized worldwide for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the mathematics and physics profession. He has received many awards, accolades’ and has been featured in numerous publications and magazines.For 2018 he is being considered for a feature in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and for the Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). For 2017 he was selected as Top CEO of the Year in the Mathematics Sector by the International Association of Top Professionals.For 2016 he was selected as Member of the Year by the Worldwide Association of Notable Alumni.Dr. Okot-Uma is a member of the Institute of Physics, and is a Fellow of the World Academy of Arts and Sciences (WAAS).He is also founding member of a number of local committees and groups to support the welfare of others, and is active in helping younger generations of African ethnic origin discover and maintain and advance their African traditions and heritage.

Aside from his successful career as a teacher, mentor, professional and consultant, Dr. Okot-Uma is also a passionate writer on a variety of areas.He writes in order to increase the attention to ethnic history, particularly that of the Luuo culture and heritage.He just recently released a widely researched body of work entitled The Luuo: Truly Out of the Nile- A synoptic Synthesis of the Niotic Luuo History and The Ethno-Historical Luuo Heritage of Barack Obama, a masterpiece that covers five millennia of Luuo origin, migration and settlement along the Nile valley.

Looking back, Dr. Okot-Uma attributes his success to his experience, his long hours of research, mentors he has had along the way and staying passionate in all his endeavors.Dr. Okot-Uma says he has been blessed, he loves doing what he is doing, and feels this is just the beginning.When he is not working Dr. Okot-Uma enjoys traveling, writing, enjoying the arts and spending time with his wife Roseline Dube and 13 grandchildren.

For the future, Dr. Okot-Uma will continue to serve as a mentor to his students and teach them the principles and methodologies of math and physics to continue making a difference in people’s lives anyway that he can.
