Dr. Peter Kehoe selected as Top Consultant of the Year in Chemical Engineering by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

Dr. Peter G. Kehoe, President of Blasket Group was selected as "Top Consultant of the Year in Chemical Engineering" for 2017 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. With more than 4 decades of professional experience in Executive Management and Business Leadership, Dr. Kehoe has certainly proved himself as an extraordinary professional, and expert in the field.  Dr. Kehoe is a dynamic, results-driven leader who has demonstrated success not only with the global market supply chain and cross functional team management, but he also is a trained chemical engineer and has been an asset with every company he has ever worked for. 

Prior to founding the Blasket Group in 2004, Dr. Kehoe was a Research Engineer, Tech Superintendent, Product Mgr, Tech Director, Biz Director and Managing Director for DuPont, where he served for more than 3o years. Dr. Kehoe managed Dupont’s first IPO, and served in the United Kingdom, as Managing Director of a printing plate company that DuPont had acquired. His technical knowledge over time with DuPont spanned numerous sectors, including manufacturing and products like nylon, latex, teflon and polyester, and also extended to Nomex, Photomask and DTI / INVISTA Divestiture.

After earning a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University College Dublin, Dr. Kehoe completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Yale University, where he captained the Rugby Club. He completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at Cambridge University focusing on Chemical Reaction Engineering, as well as a one-year fellowship at The National University of Ireland, Dublin.  Dr. Kehoe says that he got into chemical engineering because he was always interested in mathematics, chemistry and discovering how things work, so it seemed like a perfect fit.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Kehoe has been recognized worldwide for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession and has been active in his community.  In 2016 he was selected as Outstanding Professional of the Year with the Worldwide Association of Notable Alumni and for this year selected as Top Consultant of the Year in Chemical Engineering with the International Association of Top Professionals.  He maintains close ties to his roots in County Kerry, Ireland, and speaks fluent Irish and English.

Looking back, Dr. Kehoe attributes his success to his work ethic, tenacity and the support of his lovely wife and family.  The proud father of four grown children based in California, Delaware and Australia, Peter and his wife recently celebrated their 50th anniversary, and enjoy visiting relatives abroad as his busy consulting schedule allows.  For the future, Dr. Kehoe will continue to grow as a professional, and hopes the best is still yet to come.
