Dr. Kimberly Okumura D.D.S, Cosmetic & General Dentist in Huntington Beach, California was selected as Top Dentist of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP), for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the field.  

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. With almost 3 decades of professional experience as a Dentist and Professor, Dr. Okumura has certainly proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in the Cosmetic & General Dentistry field. As a dynamic, results-driven leader, Dr. Okumura has demonstrated success not only with her practice in Huntington Beach, California but also with her teaching career, running the Tobacco Cessation Clinic and the Fearful Patient Clinic at USC School of Dentistry, where she is a research Assistant Professor.

Dr. Okumura received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry in 1990.The President of IAOTP, Stephanie Cirami, stated “Choosing Dr. Okumura for this award was an easy decision for our panel to make.She is talented, humble, gracious, and brilliant at what she does.We felt she would make an amazing asset to our organization and we are looking forward to meeting her at the gala and know we will be seeing more amazing things from this amazing woman.” 

Throughout her illustrious career Dr. Okumura has received numerous awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. For 2018 she is being considered for a feature in TIP (Top Industry Professional ) Magazine and for the Top Female Professional Award by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).For 2017 she was selected as Top Dentist of the Year by IAOTP and was voted one of the Top Dentists in Orange County by her peers and featured in Orange Coast Magazine.Dr. Okumura is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Harbor Dental Society, Japanese American Dental Association, the Christian Medical and Dental Association, and Orange County Dental Association.

Looking back, Dr. Okumura attributes her success to her training, her perseverance, mentors she has had along the way, and her passion for what she does.When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.For the future, she will continue to grow as a professional and wants to continue to make a difference in people’s lives any way she can.
